Joel Indrupati has been in the field of education, training, marketing and management, for 32 years.
He started his career as a marketing executive. But went on to work as a general manager in two training companies, and as a lecturer in three universities. He was into real-world Marketing and Management for 14 years, and in academics for 18 years.
He is currently heading Corporate Communications in a private non-profit healthcare organization that has been serving Bahrain for over 120 years.
He taught Management, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Business Law, at the University of Bahrain for 13 years. But he had earlier taught in Osmania University and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, in India, too.
He has published and presented research papers and has spoken in several international conferences.
He was an elected board member of Indian School, the largest school in Bahrain, for 3 years during 2005-2008.
He was also on the boards of two religious organizations and in the GCC-wide leadership of an International public-speaking organization.
Among the varied roles, he is used to playing are also Radio DJ, Quiz Show host, play director, actor, newspaper columnist, blogger, toastmaster and a public speaker.
